The effects of the coronavirus pandemic on mental health have been widely reported, as has the need to normalise conversations on the topic. In the automotive industry, this remains an ongoing challenge. LKQ Euro Car Parts’ Talk.Listen campaign was designed to make colleagues feel comfortable talking about their mental health, and to help managers support those in need. And it worked. A recent survey revealed that post-campaign, two thirds of colleagues (65%) felt more able to identify a colleague who might be struggling with their mental health, and three in five were more able to respond appropriately and offer support.
