In February 2021, Abarth launched the world’s first VR ‘test drive’ giving customers the chance to experience the thrill of driving an Abarth from the comfort and safety of their homes during the Covid-19 lockdown.

A 360-degree video captured Abarth advocate @Stef_ABTV taking customers on a ‘test drive’ in the 595 Scorpioneoro on iconic driving roads in Wales. The VR experience was trialled from Vospers Exeter (Abarth dealership) with the headset delivered directly to customers’ homes. Additionally, there was a month-long competition on Abarth UK’s social channels, offering an Oculus Quest VR headset for a lucky winner to enjoy.
